Reformer Pilates is intense and dynamic, performing the Pilates through a greater range using assistance and resistance.

This is probably the most recognisable piece of Pilates equipment in a studio. The reformer is an elegant piece of equipment; it uses springs and pulleys to offer resistance and assistance to your workout. It creates a unique and varied environment to exercise in.

Reformer Pilates was developed to teach students correct technique and how to perform each exercise. It was felt that it was better to perform a quality movement only a few times than perform an exercise poorly. By using the reformer, exercises can be performed in a more supported position. The student could then progress onto more advanced matwork exercises where the body needs to support and stabilise itself.

We have a purpose-built studio, in the centre of Sevenoaks, that offers reformer classes for up to 5 people at a time.
